Standard reseller terms

These apply to every approved reseller, without exception.

01 10 units minimum Per product, per order. Mix products freely above that.
02 Upfront payment Orders are dispatched once payment reflects.
03 No consignment No credit terms and no sale-or-return.
04 No white-labeling Original packaging only. No re-packaging or re-branding.
05 Sell as Seamoss Africa Stock is sold under our brand, at the recommended retail price.

How ordering works

You cannot buy at wholesale prices until your application is approved. Every application is reviewed by hand, so you always speak to a person.

  1. 1 Apply Complete the reseller application below. No payment at this stage.
  2. 2 We review Your application is emailed to our trade team and read by a person.
  3. 3 Authorisation We confirm by email or WhatsApp, and your account is authorised for trade pricing.
  4. 4 Order on the site Buy directly on seamossafrica.com at trade prices, from 10 units per product.
  5. 5 Pay and receive Pay upfront, then collect in store or receive by courier.

The questions our trade team answers most often.

Which products can I resell?+

Two products are available to resellers right now: Seamoss Gel and Womb Cleanser Tea. Anything else in our range, including bulk herbs, is handled separately. Email us with the product and quantity and we will confirm whether it can be supplied.

What does it cost, and what do I make?+

Seamoss Gel is R100 wholesale against a R150 recommended retail price. Womb Cleanser Tea is R75 wholesale against R110 retail. That is R50 and R35 per unit respectively, before your own costs.

What is the minimum order?+

Ten units per product. You can mix products in one order, but each product must reach ten units. There is no maximum.

How does payment work?+

Upfront payment only. Your order is confirmed and dispatched once payment reflects. We do not offer consignment, credit terms or sale-or-return.

Can I sell under my own brand?+

No. White-labeling and re-packaging are not permitted. All stock must be sold in its original Seamoss Africa packaging, under the Seamoss Africa brand.

Do I have to sell at the recommended retail price?+

The RRP is what we recommend, and it is what protects your margin against other resellers. We ask that you do not undercut it.

Why do I need to be approved first?+

Approval lets us check that the products suit your customers, keep pricing consistent across resellers, and give you a named contact for support. Until your account is authorised you will only see retail prices. Once approved, you buy directly on the site at trade prices.

How long does approval take?+

Two business days in most cases. Every application is read by a person on our trade team, and we come back to you either way.

How is stock delivered?+

Nationwide courier in 3 to 6 business days, or collection from one of our stores by arrangement.

Brand rules, in short

Our resellers protect each other by holding the line on packaging and price. These are the rules we ask everyone to keep.

Original packaging Sell the product as it arrives. No decanting, re-labelling or re-packaging.
Hold the price Sell at the recommended retail price. Undercutting hurts every reseller, including you.
Our name on it Stock is marketed as Seamoss Africa. Use our product names and claims, not new ones.
No medical claims Our products are food supplements. Never promise that they diagnose, treat or cure illness.

Loose herbs supplied by weight to retailers, manufacturers and practitioners. Minimum order 50 g per item. Pricing depends on the herb, volume and current harvest, so we quote per inquiry rather than list it here.
